I found that phpBB had a simple interface, but lacked features that should be considered basic. To do anything decent, you needed to run countless "mods". The mod makers seemed to assume that it was obvious how to install them, and phpBB.com didn't help, either.
If you want free, use Invision, and support them when you can. If you expect to pay, use vBulletin. |
